Children

Raising children is one of the most difficult things to do, and we admire those mothers who give their all including unconditional love to their children.  And all without thought of getting anything in return.  Kind of like what God gives to his children.

God loves his children because he knew even before he created the earth that his children would accept his love.  He created heaven and earth and at the right time and in the right place he created his children. Children were made beautifully through his wonderful works and in his image. A child is his precious work. God planned and created every one of his children before they were born.

Sometimes God has set up circumstances and situations in life to force people to seek him and find him so that he can show them his miracles. He doesn’t want his children to feel betrayed and neglected. He wants his children to trust him and love him with all their hearts.  This way he will strengthen and help his children. He wants his child to call upon him. God wants the mother of his and her child or children not to be worried about how good of a mother she will be. He wants mothers to put their children by their own comfort, desires, and needs and to love their children unconditionally. God does not want mothers to do it as an obligation or responsibility but out of love.

On this page, you will find bible verses about children and the wonderful creations they are.

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
